Well....Here I am again!

My title pretty much sums it up. I am back (about) where I started about a year and a half ago. I (once again) gained more than the recommended amount of weight during my pregnancy with M. I am certainly feeling overweight and out of shape. I know I need to do something, but to be honest, it is SO hard to find the inner motivation to really make the big changes I know I need to make. I could really use some words of encouragement and motivation as I set out to tackle the huge task ahead of me. Thanks for taking the time to care. :)

I am setting my goal weight 5 lbs. less than last time and starting about 5 pounds heavier than last time (referring to when I started this blog after having C).

Weight to lose: Approx. 50 pounds

  1. Don't look at the big picture but little by little, step by step. With time you will look back and see bigger results. Big results are made up of lots of small successes. =]
We can work on this together.
    Love you!

  3. You can do it! If it helps here are a few things that I've figured out along the way: Use 'em if their helpful, ignore them if not :)

    1. If I do well with breakfast and lunch (I usually have a salad) and keep the snacks to a minimum then I can generally eat what everyone else is eating for dinner. With my picky family, this is huge.

    2. I got myself a pedometer to keep me moving even on days when I didn't exercise formally. I was amazed at how FEW steps I took each day. If you're interested in one the one I have is an Omron Tri-Axis, and I LOVE it. Not too expensive (I think I got mine for $25) but worlds better than the $15 ones from Walmart that I tried before.

You'll do well, just remember what your goals are and WHY you want to lose weight :). I'll be praying for you!

  4. Oh and I really don't like keeping track of my calories on paper, so I found this website/app that helps me with it. www.myfitnesspal.com I don't use the app, but I know they have one (think it's free). I found that I track my calories a lot better when I don't have to do all the math myself :)
